Frequently asked questions

Answers about choosing a plan, payment, installation, mobile data, top-ups and troubleshooting.

Browse by topic or search a question. Features and activation rules vary by plan; its details and installation instructions take priority.

Before you buy5

What is an eSIM?

An eSIM is a digital SIM installed on a compatible device. It lets you add a mobile data plan without inserting a physical SIM card.

How do I know my phone supports eSIM?

Check Add eSIM in your phone settings, the exact regional model and carrier unlock. The compatibility guide gives separate steps for iPhone and Android.

Will an eSIM work on a carrier-locked phone?

A lock may prevent another provider's eSIM from working. Ask the original carrier to confirm or remove the restriction before buying; purchasing a plan does not unlock the phone.

How do I choose the right plan?

Choose the destination, then filter by validity, data amount and limited or unlimited data. Compare coverage, activation, hotspot and included services. Video and tethering generally use more data than maps and messaging.

What is the difference between country and regional plans?

A country plan covers its listed destination. Regional or global plans cover only the countries explicitly listed, not every country in that region or the world. Check each stop on your itinerary.

Purchase and payment6

How do I buy a plan?

Open the destination, choose a plan, review its conditions and proceed to checkout. Confirm the order total and complete payment. Track the result under My Orders in the same account.

Which payment methods and currency can I use?

Use the methods shown at checkout; availability can vary. Review the currency and final total before confirming. Your bank may apply conversion or other fees under its own terms.

Money was taken but my order is still pending. What now?

Check My Orders and allow the payment confirmation to arrive. A bank authorisation may not be a completed charge. Avoid paying again for the same order; contact support with its reference if the state does not change.

Where is my QR code after payment?

Open My eSIMs or the order page. The code appears after the provider finishes issuing the SIM. Paid — preparing your eSIM means payment was received but delivery is still being processed; contact support if it remains stuck.

Where can I find my order and invoice?

Sign in to the account used for purchase, open My Orders and select the order. Use the invoice option when available. Keep the order reference for support requests.

Can I cancel or request a refund?

Review the site's refund policy and contact support with the order reference and reason. Eligibility depends on the policy and whether the SIM was issued, installed or used. A refund is not automatically guaranteed.

Installation and activation6

Where do I find installation instructions?

Open the purchased SIM under My eSIMs for its QR code and manual details. Use the installation guide for your phone, with stable internet. Keep activation details private.

Should I install before travelling?

Read the activation rule first. Some plans start at installation and others at first connection to a supported network. Prepare while internet is available, but respect any installation or activation deadline.

When does validity start?

Activation conditions vary by plan. Review the plan details before purchase: validity may start on installation or the first supported network connection.

How do I scan a QR code shown on the same phone?

Use a supported gallery or QR recognition option, display it on another device, or enter the manual details. Do not assume every phone can scan a screenshot directly.

What are SM-DP+ and the activation code?

They identify the server and profile used for installation. Copy the values from that SIM's manual details exactly. A phone may request separate fields or a complete activation string; follow its prompts.

Can I reinstall an eSIM?

Some activation codes are single-use. Do not delete an installed eSIM unless support confirms it is safe to do so.

Data and coverage6

Can I keep my phone number and WhatsApp?

You can normally keep your primary SIM and WhatsApp account. Select the travel eSIM for data and check your primary carrier's roaming settings and charges.

Does the plan include a number, calls or SMS?

Only if the plan explicitly includes them. A data-only plan supplies internet; it does not add ordinary calls or SMS. Internet calling apps use data and remain subject to local availability.

Should data roaming be enabled?

Enable it on the travel eSIM when its instructions require it. Disable roaming on your home SIM and automatic data switching to avoid unintended data use there. Your home carrier may still charge for calls and SMS.

Is 5G or a particular speed guaranteed?

No. Speed and available network type depend on the plan, partner network, phone, location, signal and congestion. Check supported networks in the plan details; actual performance can vary.

Can I share my connection with a laptop?

Use hotspot only if the plan allows it and the phone supports it. Tethering consumes the plan's data and may have separate restrictions, especially on unlimited plans.

Does unlimited mean unlimited full-speed data?

Not necessarily. Fair-use rules may reduce speed after a daily or total threshold, and hotspot limits may apply. Read the specific plan's terms; unlimited is not a promise of constant speed.

Manage your eSIM5

Where can I see remaining data?

Open the SIM page for the available usage counters and update time. Provider reporting can be delayed; phone counters may cover a different period. Use the update button when you need to request fresh data.

Why are activation or expiry dates unavailable?

The provider may not yet have reported actual activation or expiry. Installation and first use can be separate events. Check the plan's rule and refresh later; contact support if data is working but the dates remain missing.

Can I add more data to the same eSIM?

If the SIM supports top-ups, its page shows available packages. Review their data, price and activation conditions before paying. If no top-up is offered, you may need a new plan and a new SIM.

What happens when data or validity runs out?

The service may stop when the allowance is used or the validity period ends. Unused data does not automatically roll over. Check whether a compatible top-up is available or buy a new plan.

Can I move the eSIM to another phone?

Do not assume the QR is reusable or the profile transferable. Check with support before deleting the original profile or changing devices; a new SIM may be required.

Troubleshooting5

The SIM is installed, but there is no internet. What should I check?

Confirm coverage, validity and remaining data. Enable the eSIM, select it for mobile data, apply its roaming and APN instructions, then try airplane mode or a restart. Keep the profile installed while troubleshooting.

Why is the connection slow or unstable?

Check signal strength, move to a better location and review any fair-use limit. Network congestion or local coverage may affect speed. Stop large background downloads and contact support if the problem persists.

Why does the account show not activated although data works?

The provider's status and usage report may arrive after the actual network connection. Check the last update and refresh the SIM page. If the mismatch persists, send support the order reference and details.

What if the QR code is invalid or already used?

Check whether that SIM is already listed in the phone and whether you opened the correct order. A downloaded profile may make the code unusable again. Do not delete it; ask support to check the status.

What information helps support resolve a problem?

Send the order reference, model, software version, current country, exact error and steps tried. Share settings screenshots through your private ticket after hiding unnecessary identifiers. Never publish QR codes or activation details.

Still need an answer?

Send your order number, phone model, current country and the error you see. Never send a password, card security code or one-time payment code.
